Teaching historical thinking? This resource will help, especially for those teachers who are going to be distance learning or hybrid/blended. These historical thinking skills choice boards are 4 different choice boards that review historical significance, using primary sources, continuity and change, and cause and effect.
Students love them as the tasks are interesting and choice boards are empowering by allowing students to decide what they want to work on. Simultaneously, students will develop their understanding of these essential history skills while using creativity and critical thinking.
There are 3 levels in each choice board and a variety of engaging activities. It is also editable in case you want to change the instructions or add in your own ideas! It can be used whether you are doing face to face, distance learning, or blended/hybrid learning.
