Our products are designed to coordinate with fun holidays throughout the year. This packet is designed to accompany National Hot Dog Day, September 10th.
The activities include an informational text passage students can read that covers the history of the Hot Dog as well as links and a QR code to videos that cover the same, and additional information.
Learners can use what they learn about Hot Dogs to make the Hot Dog Mini Book. The Book comes in a Full Color ready to print version as well as a Color-Your-Own version.
There are links to a few hot dog themed read alouds, including the book Hot Dog, Eleanor Roosevelt Throws a Picnic.
Extension activities include: planning your own picnic menu, as well as graphing results between the preference between hamburgers and hot dogs. Learners can survey friends and family in person or using email, online surveys, or even Google Forms!
