Description

This listing features two full-page crossword puzzles about the nervous system for Human Anatomy and Physiology. It reinforces the following subtopics - nervous system divisions, cell classification, cell anatomy, disorders, levels of consciousness, brain anatomy, lobe functions, neurotransmitters, key ions, and action potential.

The terms covered include: action potential, afferent, alertness, astrocyte, cerebellum, cerebral palsy, concussion, dendrite, depolarization, diencephalon, encephalitis, epilepsy, fissure, meninges, microglia, migraine, myelin sheath, neuron, neurotoxicity, occipital, oligodendrocyte, parietal, peripheral, potassium, right, serotonin, and the spinal cord.

The clues are on the same page as the crossword grid. I included an answer key for each puzzle. I also created a combined word bank showing all twenty-six terms. There are three sets of word banks on one page with cut-out lines to help save paper.

The crossword puzzle will become editable once you convert the file over to Microsoft Word using an Adobe Acrobat Reader DC app. This is the first crossword puzzle set of two I offer about the nervous system through Amped Up Learning.
