IMAX Movie Poster Lesson

This product contains a complete fun lesson plan on how students can build a compelling IMAX movie poster in Photopea with their own original stories. It is broken down into the following 3 parts:

Part 1 - The Importance of a Movie Poster
This is an editable Word document worksheet that will help build student's previous knowledge on movie posters and help students learn the key elements of a movie poster. An answer key is included.

Part 2 - Build Your Movie's Story
This is an editable Word document worksheet in which students write a plot summary of their original movie and come up with more information about the movie such as the title, actors, and more. A student example is included.

Part 3 - Create Your Movie Poster in Photopea
This part contains 2 practice videos in which students can practice making a movie poster before making one for their own original movie. Multiple IMAX movie poster examples are provided that were created by my own students years ago.
