Biology Made Easy
Erin Tiderman is a high school AP Biology teacher of 24 years. She has developed hundreds of original hands-on activities and labs that foster not only a love for biology, but also promote a deep understanding of essential biology concepts that meet a variety of curriculum standards.
Erin believes that all students can be successful learning biology if they are involved in activities that are engaging, challenging, and easy to understand.
Erin is a trained College Board Consultant and has served as a Reader for AP Biology Exams over the course of three different summers. Erin received the Outstanding Biology Teacher Award for Idaho and has been a Presidential Award Finalist in Science for the state of Idaho in 2011, 2013, and 2017.
Erin earned National Board Certification in Adolescent and Young Adult Science in 2001, has an M.A. in Teaching, and a B.S. in Biology.
