Algebra contains five lessons about algebra created to align with Unit 2 of the new Alberta Grade 7 math curriculum. Each lesson begins with instructions and examples to introduce new concepts. After that, the teacher can do a few practice questions with the class. At this point, students are ready to do questions on their own. Each lesson ends with an optional challenge question. Answer keys are included.
This resource includes three interactive digital mini lessons about expressions and equations. Mountain Math, a digital math game, can be used as a warm-up activity or for review. A quiz is provided for student assessment.
