Leading into my 7th year of teaching, I noticed that when I would delve into lesson plans, I always thought of how to make a lesson meaningful for students of all demographics. Scaffolding all lessons is crucial before any student can perform on the higher end of Bloom's taxonomy. I tell my students day in and day out, think like a SCIENTIST, you must train your brain to infer daily. All activities that I create are high in vocabulary. Doing so supports concept retention and builds confidence among all my students.
