I am a third year teacher. I teach in a self-contained 3-5 grade Autism classroom. I received my Bachelors in Special Education from East Carolina University and my Masters in Special Education and Certification in Autism from the College of William and Mary. I work hard to adapt materials for my students to reach grade level content and be included with their same-age peers during academic instruction. I have a huge passion for teaching my students to advocate for themselves and navigate their world independently as well as helping parents find ways to generalize those skills at home. I also love collaborating and sharing with other special education teachers. So I work to create resources that are easy to use for students and help teachers reach all of their kiddos.
