Success in Science Store

I am a UK trained science teacher who has worked in 4 different schools over my career. I have worked in pastoral and academically challenging environments. I have studied in an AP Academy (alternative provisions) providing a science curriculum to the students that was accessible, educational and interesting. The content had to be differentiated to meet the varying needs and requirements of the pupils. A very worthwhile experience.

 

I have also spent a period of time working in a grammar school where I taught Biology and Chemistry to some of the brightest young minds in the country, allowing them to fulfill and exceed their potential. I worked closely with one of the most experienced chemistry departments within the consortium, gaining some invaluable advice and wisdom on how to get the most out of pupils in lessons.

 

I have taught in a secondary school in the heart of Hertfordshire in a low socio-economic estate. I have been working here for 4 years and have been deputising a successful science faculty for the last 2 years. I find myself as a leader drawing on all my experience.

 

I am now currently working in the top school in Bedfordshire and provide support and training for other schools in the county, leading from the front with examples teaching and standards.
