This resource reviews CVC Words and Short Vowels. It includes 32 full page puzzles. Each page has a picture and 3 letters to spell the word. The 4 pieces fit together like a puzzle. Print the pages, laminate and cut. Store the pieces in a zip lock bag or a manila envelope.
The puzzles are perfect as a large group activity but also work great in your literacy center area. Students find a picture puzzle piece and then the letters that spell the word. All of the puzzle shapes are the same. To make this self correct, simply add matching stickers to the appropriate puzzle pieces or write the word on the back of the picture piece.
