Winter Math Activity 2nd 3rd Grade Addition and Subtraction Within 100

This is a winter math activity that reviews addition and subtraction within 100 (CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.2.NBT.B.5). Choose from three different activities: whole class, small group, or individual...or use all! Your students will love these hands on activities to celebrate winter!

What does this product include?

• Teacher notes
• Detailed instructions for each activity
• Whole class activity- this activity resembles the game "Doggy, Doggy, Where's Your Bone?". Instead, students will take turns solving math problems and walking around the room to find the snowman's correct hat based off the correct answer of the math problem.
• Small group activity (3-4 students)- students will answer math problems and then match the correct answer to the right hat card.
• Individual activity- students will solve math problems and then cut and paste them into the correct hat space.
• All activities come with an answer key and answer sheets for students
• All activities come in color and black and white
• Problems align with CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.2.NBT.B.5, but are a great review for 3rd grade too!
