Description
This unit teaches geographic and timeline skills for Social Studies while covering most of the key events of World War 2 and the Holocaust. This project focuses on WW2 through the lens of the European Theater, Pacific Theater, and Human Rights issues that took place from 1935-1946.
This is a 2-3 week long project based unit which includes:
*40-slide Powerpoint with embedded youtube video links (see preview page 1 for examples)
*17 page teacher resource including directions, handouts, rubrics, and several higher-order thinking assignments that can be added to the timeline project in order to help students use their own work to generate deeper understanding.
Activities include rubrics for grading.
Download includes the Powerpoint, and a .pdf and .docx file so you have the ability to modify certain events to suit your own class curriculum demands.
