Ancient China Timeline Map Image Analysis Stations Activity

Students will review what they learned about the people, events, beliefs, and more from Ancient China (the Shang, Zhou, Qin, and Han) with this timeline stations and map activity. They will first put together one timeline with 8 events and write academic identifications. They will then match 8 other events to their identification, expand on the identification, and put the events in chronological order. The third station (or task) is image analysis and the final station (or task) is a map.

Sample timeline items include Wu Wang establishes Zhou dynasty, Kong Fuzi born, period of the warring states, Terracotta Army buried in a mausoleum, reign of Emperor Wudi, and more!

Teacher information and the answers are included where appropriate. This would be great for a sub if used as an individual or pairs packet.
