This product gives an overview of the 3 main formulas used to solve for the area of a triangle, when to use each of the formulas, and a basic example of each. These scaffolded notes continue with 8 application problems which you may guide students through, have them work in teams to finish, or have them work individually. Each problem is worked out in the answer key. Law of Cosine is needed to solve some of the problems. Law of Sines may be helpful. A detailed teacher key is provided with purchase.
