Description

Students will read excerpts from Henry Clay's Compromise of 1850 and answer 15 questions. They will then connect 4 images to the text or its effects. Lastly, they will complete a map activity with 6 tasks. The answers are included where appropriate and this would be great for a sub!

Sample questions include:
--Provide a contextually appropriate synonym/definition for “concord” and “amicably.”
--Summarize the 5th paragraph in your own words to demonstrate understanding.
--Why was the District of Columbia significant enough to make the location for the answer to number 6?
--How did this affect the Missouri Compromise?
--To what extent was this a compromise? Explain your thought process fully
