Description

Students will read excerpts from the Missouri Compromise and Missouri's admission to the Union, answer 14 questions, and complete 2 tasks. The answers are included where appropriate and this would be great for a sub!

Sample questions include:
--Explain the significance of the Sec. 2 latitude line in the 1820s and for American growth in the future.
--Who can vote on this issue and why?
--Explain the implied enjoyment citizens were entitled to via the admission to the Union document.|
--In what way was this actually a compromise? Cite evidence from the text to support your answer.
--To what extent does this act fit in with the time period of the Era of Good Feelings? In other words, did this contribute to the time period being known as the Era of Good Feelings or is it an anomaly from that era?
