JH EdConsult creates practical, engaging resources for middle school teachers that make planning easier while helping students build deeper thinking skills.

Most resources are built around Depth of Knowledge (DOK), moving students from basic understanding to more complex thinking through purposeful, scaffolded activities. You’ll find reading comprehension, puzzles, seasonal activities, early finisher activities, sub plans, and more, all designed with real classrooms and diverse learners in mind.

As a special education educator with nearly three decades of experience, I understand the need for resources that are accessible, flexible, and ready to use. Many activities can be easily adapted for differentiation, inclusion, intervention, and students who need additional support.
