Description

This middle school Veteran’s Day writing project has students interview or research a veteran. They then write an essay with at least five paragraphs about the veteran. Guidelines are included for the content of each paragraph, making it easier for students who struggle to write essays. There are pages for students to brainstorm questions for each paragraph and graphic organizers with space to record answers to questions, helping students organize their information so that it is readily available when they are ready to start writing their essays. This project combines narrative writing, informational writing, and research, making it the perfect Veteran’s Day assignment to help your students practice their writing skills!
