Middle East Physical Geography Overview

World Geography students will learn about the physical geography of Southwest Asia (Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Syria, United Arab Emirates, Yemen, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Turkey, Jordan, Israel, and the State of Palestine) with this PowerPoint and note guide. It can also be printed and used as a gallery walk or stations sorted by topic. The comprehension tasks including answering 15 questions, completing a sorting chart, designing 3 stamps, completing true/false/fix with 12 statements, and labeling a map with 35 locations/items. The topics covered include landforms, bodies of water, climate, natural resources, animals, and vegetation. The presentation is included as a powerpoint and PDF for your convenience. Teacher information and the answers are included where appropriate.
