Description

We are confident that you will be extremely pleased with these review cards for your student scholars to use! Students in my classroom enjoy challenging one another to see who has a better mastery of the new words. This product can become a part of your ongoing vocabulary teaching, or it can also be used as a stand-alone set for vocabulary building! Color coding the cardstock will allow you to quickly create a colorful word wall, differentiated for all of your learners!

We recommend that you print these cards on 6 sheets of card stock, which you can then cut apart and laminate for a strong, long lasting, resource. When you print double sided from the templates, four key words, along with sample sentences using each word as examples, will be on the front of the sheet, and the parts of speech and definitions will appear on the reverse side aligned with the correct word.

In addition, you will find that all of the words on sheets 1 and 2 are adjectives; those on sheets 3, 4 and 5 are nouns; and those on sheet 6 are verbs. Our reasoning for this is to make it easier for you if you would like to color code your word walls by using a different color card stock for each part of speech (blue – noun, green – verb, yellow – adverb, orange – adjective?). Just an idea!

The words reviewed in this set are:

Carefree (adjective) ; Crafty (adjective); Essential (adjective); Fragile (adjective); Indivisible (adjective); Limp (adjective); Organized (adjective); Routine (adjective); Burrow (noun); Century (noun); Dusk (noun); Example (noun); Hail (noun); Limb (noun); Mistrust (noun); Permit (noun); Request (noun); Sole (noun); Threat (noun); Venture (noun); Burrow (verb); Demonstrate (verb); Hail (verb);          Impact (verb)
