Description
This foldable teaches the major structures of the Respiratory System while students match pictures with descriptions and interesting facts. The matched sections are put together on a template that mimics the order of airflow starting with outside the body and ending with exchange in the capillaries at the alveoli. The 3 page completed template can then be folded and fits into a normal 3 ring binder or folder.
This activity is great for students to learn the names,anatomy and facts of the structures as well as the physiology of breathing.

This served as a great tool for my students to review the pathway and structures that we had been talking about. I really liked the fun facts too! They were able to match most of them from what they learned in the unit, but had to think about others - which got them talking to each other!
