Description
Students will be engaged from start to finish as they identify rock types, practice measurement skills, and develop a deep understanding of the rock cycle!
Students will "adopt" a pet rock. Next, students will complete an "All About Me" page for their pet rock noting the volume, density, and mass of their pet as well as documenting their pet's name, describing it's color, and much more! Finally, students will write a short story describing how their pet rock could change through the rock cycle.
