In this self-checking activity, students answer questions as they receive instant feedback. But wait, there’s more! Not only do students get immediate feedback along with an image to increase student engagement, but they also get to customize that image. In Holiday Crazy Creatures, after correct responses, students are able to customize the image to create a crazy creature by swapping out the head, body and legs. What crazy creatures will your students create as they collect new characters for correct responses?

After solving the question on a whiteboard, scratch paper, or the provided workspace, students type their final answer into the appropriate cell. If correct, the student receives immediate feedback as they unlock characters.

In contrast, when students answer incorrectly, their answer turns red to let them know they should go back and revise their answer or seek help from the instructor.
