The Articles of Confederation PowerPoint and Note Guide

Students will learn about America under the Articles of Confederation with this PowerPoint and note guide (or it can be printed and used as a gallery walk) covering the powers and limitations of the Articles of Confederation, the Land Ordinance of 1785 and Northwest Ordinance of 1787, Shays' Rebellion, relations with Britain and Spain, the issue of raising money, whether this should be considered the critical period or not, and more!

The note guide has 29 questions, 1 sorting chart, and 6 primary source excerpts. For the excerpts, students need to determine whether the quote supports the Articles of Confederation or a new Constitution and why. The presentation has been included as a PowerPoint and PDF for your convenience.
