I use these “Character Quotes” about once a week in my class for our bell work. I really enjoy the discussions that they lead to. They allow me to promote positive character traits in my students in a quick way.

The students are instantly engaged with the pictures that are moving. I allow my students to choose 3 of the 4 questions to complete each time we do this. I like giving them choices about things that don’t really matter :) No matter what questions they choose, they are going to have to explain the meaning of the quote to me. I feel like these have really helped the climate in my classroom to be more positive. I refer back to these quotes frequently and it always amazed me when I hear students reciting them to each other. I think your students will really like them!
