Description

Students will learn about, or review, different people and events related to the Civil War with these 20+ primary source resources. They are text based but 11 include images to analyze, two include a map, and two are DBQs.  Some also include point of view analysis or extension tasks.  The topics covered include, but are not limited to, the Kansas-Nebraska Act, Dred Scott, the Compromise of 1850, the Gettysburg Address, the home front, the Emancipation Proclamation, Lincoln's Inaugural Addresses, Frederick Douglass, John Brown, Antietam, and more!  Most of these would be great for a sub and the answers are included where appropriate.
