The Last 9 Weeks of Differentiated Journal Prompts

This useful daily differentiated journal is back for the 4th and final 9 weeks. Eliminate the struggle to get your 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students engaged in their journal writing. All it takes to differentiate is printing and making a double sided copy.

This classroom tested resource will help your reluctant writers feel more confident. It will give your writers who need a push, an engaging variety of topics to think about as they explore their talent in narrative, opinion, and informational writing. This product and the routine are explained in detail within the teacher's guide. These pages can be printed in color or black and white.

This is a double page so you can make one copy for every 2 kids.

-9 pages of prompts with sentence frames

These are used 2 different ways for your option 2 and 3 learners

-9 pages of prompts with pictures

These are for your option 1 learners, but the pictures will help your option 2 and 3 learners as well, especially your ELL learners.

These prompt pages are for days 2-4.

-A Free Writing Fun page

This is another double page that can be copied for every 2 kids.

Use this as a scaffold for your option 2 and 3 kids to be a word bank as they create
fun masterpieces of their own on day 5.
