Description
Thank you for your consideration of the Touching Spirit Bear Vocabulary Flashcards #1! We are confident that you will be extremely pleased with these review cards for your student scholars to use! You’re not teaching the novel? This product can also be used as a stand-alone set for vocabulary building!
We recommend that you print these cards on 6 sheets of card stock, which you can then cut apart and laminate for a strong, long lasting, resource. When you print double sided from the templates, four key words, along with sample sentences using each word as examples, will be on the front of the sheet, and the parts of speech and definitions will appear on the reverse side aligned with the correct word. In addition, the words are grouped by part of speech, so the words on sheet 1 will all be adjectives, those on 2 and 3 will be adverbs, sheets 4 and 5 will contain only nouns, and sheets 6, 7, and 8 will contain verbs. This gives you the option of color coding your card stock by parts of speech for use on your word wall!
The key words in this set are from chapters 1-3 of Ben Mikaelsen’s Touching Spirit Bear. They are also aligned to the Study Guide and Student Workbook to Accompany Ben Mikaelsen’s “Touching Spirit Bear”, which is also offered by ELA in Middle School. The words reviewed in this set are:
At.óow Banishment Barrage Boast Brandish Defiantly Feign Grudgingly Isolate Meekly Mosey Muster Omen Reluctantly Remote Shroud Skiff Smolder Sparse Sullenly Totem Venomous Wallow Wince
Please keep watch for the final flashcard set in this series that currently being created and will soon to be available from the ELA in Middle School Store!
