Westward Expansion Mini Projects

Students will review what they learned about westward expansion and Manifest Destiny by making trading cards, a cube (2 options), or both. Each project balances academics with personal choice and historically responsible creativity. The topics span the Louisiana Purchase through the Mexican-American War and can be expanded through the completion of the Transcontinental Railroad (so this can be a large review project or a smaller one within each unity). This includes a teacher information page, 27 starting point topic choices, cube construction visuals, and a points distribution. This could work for a sub!
