World War 2 Art Theft Mini Lesson BUNDLE

Students will learn more about art theft, looting, and recovery efforts by groups such as the Monuments Men during WW2 (WWII) with this PowerPoint and research project. This includes a 24 slide overview of the topic with a straightforward note guide if using this with younger students--it can also be printed and used as a gallery walk. For the research project, students will pick 3 pieces of art (recovered or not) and will fulfill 9 requirements in completing this project. A sample list of 40 pieces of art is provided, in addition to websites for students to get started on the project. There is a newspaper article component if time allows, and starting websites for that part of the project. A points distribution is included and this would work for US History or World History.
