These 20, school themed task cards are a great addition to your back-to-school math curriculum. Brushing up on multiplication skills after a long summer break can be a daunting task, but these cards were designed to provide your learners with practice in four different areas of 2-digit multiplication. As they work their way through each task, they’ll review skills in basic multiplication of 2-digit numbers. Next, they’ll work to find the missing variable in a multiplication equation. Then, they’ll move on to write and solve a multiplication equation based on a short word problem. Finally, they’ll read and solve 1-step and 2-step word problems involving multiplication. Task cards are great for indoor or outdoor learning activities. There is very little prep work involved and your learners will enjoy getting up and moving while also practicing important math concepts. You can also use them as a quick assessment took to gauge your learners’ levels in multiplication skills. In this product you will find a color version and black and white version of the task cards. PLEASE NOTE: both versions are identical. A data recording page and answer key are also included. The data recording page is designed to reduce the number of copies and toner/ink used for printing.
