30 Economic Writing Prompts

These writing prompts can be used in an Economics course to reinforce or review concepts that have been taught. These prompts are not meant to be the basis of long essays or activities that take several days to complete but rather a quick activity that takes up approximately 15-30 minutes of class time.

These writing prompts can be used:

o As a way to reinforce content taught during a lesson

o As a review after teaching a lesson

o As a starting activity to help students access their prior knowledge

o As a review for part of a unit test
