Alien Invasion Sub Plans

This Alien Invasion themed emergency sub plan kit has everything you need so your day away will be worry free and fun for your class while you're away. This set has no-prep, ready to go, reading, writing, math, science, and social studies activities that will be so fun for your kids, they may not even realize they're learning. You can choose to digitize all of the student pages, or print them off in class sets. They are designed to work both ways. If you digitize them, I recommend embedding videos from my YouTube channel to help with the math lesson. The first part focuses on problem solving and the second part focuses on multiplication and division, so use the videos you think your kids will benefit from the most from the following playlists: Operations and Algebraic Thinking and Number and Operations in Base Ten

-4 reading pages

including an original story used for the

fluency, spelling, and comprehension

-1 writing page (that's also tied into the story)

-3 student math pages

including 1 problem solving page, complete with listed strategy, 1 multiplication practice page, and 1 division practice page

-3 math answer keys to assist the sub with each of the math pages

-1 science page

This page not only teaches science, but encourages students to use reading and math skills. It could easily be saved for another day during reading if it wasn't needed for 1 day of sub plans.

-1 social studies page

This page utilizes reading and writing skills, and could also be saved for an additional activity on another day if the first 3 resources were enough for the time allotted.
