Students will watch and analyze a 4 and a half minute video on why and how Ancient Egyptians mummified their dead by answering 14 questions and completing a creative task. The video is from TedEd and the answers are included where appropriate.
Sample questions include:
--Which organ was removed first and why?
--For what purpose was tree resin used on the outside of the body, and when?
--Despite not being a truly complete mummy, in what way were the Ancient Egyptians successful?
