Description
This is a orientation type of scavenger hunt to help students familiarize themselves with a new environment.
I used this for my incoming 6th grade Special Education students during the first week of school. We had students partner with the 7th grade LLD students and an adult. Part of the assignment was for the new students to introduce themselves to the staff members in each area. This was good social skills practice and we went over how to do that before we began (make eye contact, state your name, wait for the other person's response etc.).
Requires students to use inferencing skills and clues to determine the location they are supposed to find.
