Breakout Room Template

Starting breakout rooms with your students in distance learning?

This template can be used in any subject area for students from 3rd through 8th grade. It gives them roles to play in their small groups in a fun format that helps them practice key concepts. As the teacher, you choose the questions to insert in the slides. This template can be used over and over with different questions. The students will get used to the format and it can help shy students participate in group discussions by giving them a specific task to perform. Teach respectful behavior and encourage group members to help each other with their tasks.
