Description
Students mark the locations of Civil War battles, military strategies, and related locations and items by completing a map activity with 11 tasks and answering 10 questions. The answers are included where appropriate and this would be great for a sub!
Sample questions include:
--Which cause of the Civil War do you think was most responsible for war breaking out and why?
--Compare and contrast the advantages and disadvantages the Union and Confederacy had over each other.
--Discuss how African Americans and Irish immigrants were affected by the war.
--Why was Britain more inclined to side with the Confederacy than the Union?
