Clothing Vocabulary Flash Cards for ESL

Flash cards are a great way to introduce new vocabulary to your ESL students, young learners or students with learning difficulties. This set introduces 20 new clothing words. The flash cards can be used in different ways:

 -to introduce new vocabulary

-to quiz your students’ knowledge of clothing words

-as part of daily routine cards

-in a spelling bee

-in a game of Who am I 

The words included are: coat, t-shirt, sweater, dress, shorts, jeans, pants, skirt, underpants, tights, hat, cap, boots, socks, shoes, sandals, winter hat, scarf, mittens, gloves.

In this resource, I’ve included a version with and without the words on the cards, both versions are available in full color and in a printer-friendly pure black and white version.
