The collage task develops technical material construction and compositional control. The pop culture workshop applies those layering skills to contemporary imagery and cultural references. The storyboard workshop extends sequential compositional thinking into cinematic narrative planning — shot types, panel size, timing, and story arc. Students work visually throughout — storyboard grids, open practice pages, and visual references.
