Daily Check-In Google Slides Interactive Activity- ENTIRE YEAR!

Use this resource to as a social and emotional "check-in" with students each day either as an independent activity or during morning meeting time. This is a perfect resource for distance or virtual learning or use in the physical classroom. There are a total of 29 Monday-Friday check-in activities included. The activities were designed to make students aware of their own social emotional-health and allow you to make this a priority in your classroom. The check-ins are a variety of activities that are fun and engaging including the following:

-All About Me activities including interest assessments, graphic organizers, and opportunities to write about favorites, families, hobbies, etc.

-SEL and feelings vocabulary exposure in which students analyze a "feelings" word and express their own experience with this emotion

-Growth Mindset and Inspirational youtube videos that hold student interest and encourage character development

-Writing prompts that motivate students to brainstorm ways to help families and communities

-Emoji self check-in response

The Google Slides are interactive and allow students to click-and-drag, input text, design slide entries, input text responses, etc.
