Events of the Foundation of the 13 Colonies Gallery Walk and Activities

Students will learn about 12 events from the foundation of the 13 colonies with this gallery walk or PowerPoint and note guide. In the note guide students will answer 23 questions, design a word cloud, identify 6 primary source excerpts, match 6 causes and effects, and complete a 12 item timeline. 

The events covered are the: Powhatan Wars, Pequot Wars, Anne Hutchinson, Metacom's War, Bacon's Rebellion, Culpeper's Rebellion, Leisler's Rebellion, Salem Witch Trials, Zenger Trial, First Great Awakening, Stono Rebellion, and Franklin's kite/electricity.

The 29 slide presentation is included as a PDF and PowerPoint for your convenience so it can also be printed as a pairs packet and used with a sub. The answers are included where appropriate.
