Homophones scoot works well as a pre-assessment, formative assessment, or just a lesson warm-up. Students of all ages can benefit from the game, but it is designed to meet the 4th grade Language Standards.
This set of scoot cards is fairly unique. Most Scoot decks have the cards numbered 1-25 or 30. This set is not numbered at all. This gives you the opportunity to take just the cards you want in any quantity that best suits your class and provides an almost limitless number of rounds. In addition to playing scoot, these cards can also be used as task cards for centers or early finishers.
