Writing can be the toughest subject to teach -- no textbook, no pacing guide. Let me help you feel good about yourself as a writing teacher. This product includes 9 complete lessons that take your intermediate students through the process of writing a personal narrative, either on paper or typed on a device. They will end up with a well written story that is ready to share. The colorful Google Slides and interactive elements will engage them as they draft, revise, and edit their piece. Because each slide has an optional audio clip, you can literally let me take the lead in teaching this unit. Even better, the audio
allows students who need to make up a step due to absences an easy way to catch up independently. Each lesson allows students to learn from modeling and think alouds before they work on that step in their own story. The 9 steps presented include:
