Description
Halloween Opinion Writing | FRAME™ Analysis & Writing Activity
Should Halloween be celebrated on the last Saturday in October?
Give your students a fun question to investigate while building the analytical thinking skills they need to develop and support an opinion.
This Halloween opinion writing activity takes students beyond simply choosing a side. Using the FRAME: Focus, Recognize, Analyze, Make Meaning, Explain™ analysis strategy, your students will work through the thinking that comes before writing. As they complete the FRAME analysis steps, they will consider the pros and cons of moving Halloween, develop their position, and prepare to explain their reasoning.
