Product Description
This one-page crossword puzzle covers the topic of minerals for an earth science course. I assign it in my middle school earth science class. There is a total of fourteen clues for students to solve for completion. Vocabulary terms covered in the puzzle are cleavage, color, crystal, density, fracture, gemstones, hardness, luster, metals, mineral, nonmetals, ore, special property, and streak. I included a boxed-in word bank below the clues under the grid as an accommodation for students who struggle in academics and with spelling. The crossword puzzle will become editable once you convert the file over to Microsoft Word using an Adobe Acrobat Reader DC app. There is no space between the two-word answers on the grid, which is explained in the directions. A key is included.
