Description
Students explore key features of the SKIN body system by completing stations. Stations focus on HOMEOSTASIS, ACNE, and PRUNING THEORY. The ability to use brainpop is required for the introduction of the lesson but will not impact the stations.
A high interest, fun, hands on lab experience for students ranging from 6th-12th grade. Use as either an introduction or a review of the concept.
The experience has built in ENL and special education modifications to allow all learners access to the curriculum (developed with a co-teacher). The experience has been tested and implemented with well over 100 students to ensure quality.
Lab station materials provided along with a student worksheet.
Questions at the end of the lesson asses understanding.
