Neanderthals Activity Myths About Neanderthals Video Guide Analysis

Students will learn about the myths and facts related to our changing understanding of Neanderthals over time by watching this 7 minute video, answering 19 questions, and completing 2 creative tasks. The answers are included where appropriate and the video is from TedEd. 

Sample questions include: 
--How did evolution connect to the discovery and what was a key shortcoming of it?
--Which belief was not supported by skeletal findings?
--About how long did they spatially overlap with homo sapiens?
--Explain the significance of the year 2010 to our studies and knowledge of Neanderthals.
