Pack Your Immigration Suitcase An Immigration Craftivity Directions:
1. Students complete the writing prompt: If you only had 1 suitcase to take to a new country, what would you bring and why? Use complete sentences below. Illustrate your answer above.
2. To construct the suitcase, fold a piece of brown construction paper in half (vertically) and cut the corners off to create the rounded edges of the suitcase. Using the tracers on page 3, make the handle out of brown construction paper.
3. Glue the writing prompt to the inside of the suitcase (it can be cut in half or left in one piece.)
