The first 6 slides are notes and completed examples!
20 Problems
5 where both equations have an isolated variable
5 where one equation has an isolated variable
10 where neither equation has an isolated variable but one variable does have a coefficient of 1
2 problems have no solution
2 have infinitely many solutions
Our Task Cards include note cards that students can refer to for a refresher!
· Tape them around the room and have students check in with every 5 problems completed
· Have students work on an individual whiteboard showing the work and answer to you before moving onto the next
· Create stations with a small number of task cards to complete and get checked before moving onto the next station (such as 4 cards in 5 stations or 5 stations of 4 cards)
