This product can be applied to classes OUTSIDE OF HISTORY (any course which requires research, really.) This is part of a BUNDLE of first-week lessons...

This product was created with the intent to present to students the skills necessary for critical thinking in source analysis how to "peruse" sources for Perspective, Reliability, and Usefulness. This product pairs with the Source Analysis handout in my store (which is included for FREE in the bundle - coming soon!)

This product includes the following:

  • Instructions on how to use the product (for teachers)
  • A review of source analysis to start: primary vs. secondary sources, etc.
  • Instructions on how to "peruse" sources for their perspective, reliability, and usefulness for a specific topic or research question.
  • A LARGELY EDITABLE PPT PRESENTATION for your convenience ;) which includes images, notes, and animations, etc.
  • Bell-ringer Questions and Exit Slips...
  • Hyperlinks and clickable/scannable QR codes: links to additional helpful products, references, helpful sites and resources, etc.
  • A printable PowerPoint presentation for you and your students.
